Add a trip with a destination, dates, and the kind of trip (city, business, outdoors, or beach). UPackIt checks the weather for those dates and suggests clothing and essentials to match — layers for big temperature swings, rain gear for wet days, sun protection for high UV, and so on. Open “Why this list” on a trip to see the reasoning.
Forecasts reach 10 days ahead. For days further out, UPackIt uses typical weather for that time of year. Check back closer to departure and choose Options → Refresh forecast and list to swap in the real forecast.
No. Items you’ve checked off stay checked, and items you added yourself are kept.
Open a trip and choose Options → Add an item.
A template saves a trip’s list so you can reuse it. Open a trip and choose Options → Save as template…. When you add a new trip, pick the template under “Start from a template”. Its items are added to the weather-based list, and the trip type and laundry setting are filled in for you. Manage templates with the button at the top left of the trip list.
With laundry, clothing is capped at a five-day rotation instead of one set per day, which keeps longer trips to a smaller bag.
Check that your iPhone is online, then tap Try again. If Apple Weather is briefly unavailable, try again in a few minutes. Trips you’ve already loaded keep their last forecast and list.
